Profile:

Mr. Beer joined Levun, Goodman & Cohen in 2019 and has been counseling clients in tax, estate planning, and business matters since 2013. He lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and works with clients in both Michigan and Illinois. He has experience with:

• Drafting and administering Wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts and prenuptial agreements
• Gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning
• Partnership and pass-through taxation issues
• Succession planning
• Domestic IRS representation, including audits and private letter rulings
• International IRS representation, including addressing penalty issues related to FBARs and other foreign activity disclosure forms

Prior to joining LGC, Mr. Beer worked at a large regional law firm in Michigan and an international tax firm. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Michigan, and Massachusetts. Mr. Beer is fluent in German and enjoys participating in charitable work that benefits children.
