Mr. Beer works at Levun, Goodman & Cohen, LLP under supervision of Illinois-licensed attorneys while he completes the process of becoming admitted to the Illinois bar. Mr. Beer is licensed to practice law in Michigan and Massachusetts and his practice will focus on estate planning, taxation, corporate law and real estate.
Prior to joining LGC, Mr. Beer worked at a large regional law firm in Western Michigan for four years in estate and tax planning. His practice focused on drafting and administering estate plans to facilitate succession planning, generational wealth transfers, generation-skipping transfers and handling related tax matters. Mr. Beer also previously worked at an international tax firm in the private client group. He received a Juris Doctor from BYU J. Reuben Clark Law School (2013) and spent his third year of law school visiting the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where he earned a Master of Laws in Taxation (2013). He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Germanic Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago (2009).
